helping hands

This seems to be a good time to mention Lotsa Helping Hands, a web-based resource for people wanting to help someone who is having treatment for cancer or caring for someone who is. It’s Lent and a time when many add something to their lives (or take something away).

When I was recovering from surgery and having four months of chemotherapy, a friend from church volunteered to organize meals for my family and rides for my children when I couldn’t take them to lessons. Lynn, you are an angel!

Now Lotsa Helping Hands offers a free, online platform for you, in their words, to organize family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues —  a family’s circle of community —  to assist with daily tasks that are a challenge when you are ill or overwhelmed with caring for someone.

Visit to learn more. You will be amazed, especially if you have ever participated in a team of helpers.

All best, dear readers,
